ENVIRONMENT, HEALTH & SAFETY (EHS) POLICY STATEMENT

OVERVIEW

Seabird Ghana Limited as part of its tagline to operate sustainably and prevent all injuries,accidents and occupational diseases. Seabird Ghana Limited is committed to managing its environmental, health and safety issues in a manner that meets the expectations of all stakeholders, including our employees, communities, and shareholders.

Our aspirational goals tailored towards the realization of our policy, therefore, are to:

♦ Integrate the consideration of environmental concerns and impacts into our decision making and activities.

♦ Rigorously employ methodologies to identify environmental aspects, assess their impact on the environment and control the impact to as low as reasonably practicable.

♦ Comply with all applicable EHS National regulations and laws.

♦ Promote state-of-the-art EHS technologies and best practices.

♦ Provide all necessary resources, equipment, and training to increase employee EHS awareness and promote safer behaviour.

♦ Provide and ensure safe and healthy working conditions for all our employees (permanent & temporary), visitors, contractors, and other stakeholders.

♦ Continually assess and improve our EHS management system, tools, and programs.

♦ Continuously improve EHS working conditions to achieve a zero-incident culture based on our core beliefs.

♦ Apply the Seabird Ghana Limited EHS policy statement to all our activities, operations, systems and investments.

Management is ultimately responsible for the implementation and revision of this policy statement. All staff of Seabird Ghana Limited are expected to actively contribute to a safe and health working environment and are responsible and held accountable for compliance with this policy statement.
