OVERVIEW

Seabird Ghana Limited is involved in the provision of maritime logistics and oil and gas services. The company operates from DTD HSE. No. 16, Community 5, Tema, Ghana.

The Executive of the organization regards the promotion of Quality, Environment, Occupational Health & Safety issues a priority at all levels within the organization. We are committed to implementing an Integrated Management System based on ISO 9001:2015, ISO14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 International Standards.

Seabird Ghana Limited is therefore committed to:

♦ Satisfying applicable requirements by ensuring that customer, statutory and regulatory requirements are determined, understood and consistently met.

♦ Enforce a zero tolerance for poor quality services to external and internal clients.

♦ Promotion of a sustainable approach to business, in partnership with our customers and other stakeholders by conserving energy, minimizing consumption, preferring low pollution materials, maximizing efficiency and implementing the waste management hierarchy.

♦ Prevention of pollution and to minimize the environmental impact, for the life cycle; (including disposal) of product and services and any other physical assets under our control.

♦ Systematically identify workplace hazard, evaluate risk, and control these through the hierarchy of controls and emergency planning.

♦ Having a risk-based process in place for the identification, classification, prioritization and control of hazards and risks.

♦ Providing a positive safety culture in which every employee, contractor and visitor feels free to speak up about non-conformances, undesirable or unsafe situations or any other OHS related issue.

♦ Establishing and maintaining a clear strategic direction and take actions to deliver tangible benefits to the organization through sustainable performance that is compatible with its context.

♦ Rigorously employ methodologies to identify environmental aspects, assess their impacts on the environment and control the impact to as low as reasonably practicable.

♦ Implementing a Plan-Do-Check-Act systematic approach to ensure continual improvement of the integrated management system performance.

This policy is communicated, implemented and maintained at all levels throughout Seabird Ghana Limited. It is periodically reviewed and revised to ensure its continuing suitability, relevance, adequacy, and is available to external interested parties including the public upon request.

All company employees, visitors and external providers are required to comply with the terms of this policy when on company premises or carrying out work on behalf of the company.
